I wonder what the voter turnout was like in Ferguson?

Finally people are starting to wake up

The Democrat party is slowly losing hold over African-American voters
Mia Love [Utah's new congresswoman for the Fourth District] cut to the chase Tuesday about what this growing conservative black movement is all about -- individualism over collectivism. In a post-election interview with CNN, Love was asked how her race and gender were a factor in her victory. She fired back:

"First of all, I think what we need to mention here is this had nothing to do with race," Love said. "Understand that Utahns have made a statement that they're not interested in dividing Americans based on race or gender, that they want to make sure that they're electing people who are honest and who have integrity . . ."

In other words, it was the content of Love's character that got her elected, not the color of her skin.

What a radical notion. Where have we heard that before?

Hahaha! I love that people jumped on this as if she wasn't asked about Soul Food after voting. A joke which I am pretty sure was a fun jab at her healthy eating initiatives which she went along with and said you can have as a treat long as you get out and vote.

Obama 2016

Michelle Obama... 1st black woman president

Hillary...psshh, surprised dems are not trying to make this happen, Barack "the greatest president of all time" can still be at the whitehouse "repairing relationships around the world" like he's been doing now. and for another 8 years so he can continue fixing the greatest recession since the great depression that the previous administration caused.

She's qualified too. just as Barack was

let's do this!

NOT Democrats. Even lifelong Democrat Michelle Rhee agrees:

Michelle Rhee: My Break With the Democrats

That wasn't helpful. She agreed because her educational policy mirrors certain conservatives. When they mirrored a Democrat (Fenty) she was for Democrats. She'd be for the current mayor because she is one of those who agreed with Fenty in wanting the voucher program restarted in DC. In this case voting against a Democrat wouldn't have made sense as the policies coincided with her beliefs.

Exactly. Conservatives oppose trapping kids, and disproportionately minorities, in abysmally performing public schools.
