Why shouldn't he? He now has a Congress that will likely approve it. I don't understand your argument.

Barack has enough money to fight ISIS. Not one more penny.

NO. We don't need to bankrupt the country just so Obama can get us in another war. Let alone sacrifice more American lives trying to help the people of the Middle East. If the people of the ME want ISIS stopped, they can actually do it themselves.

I'll bet the new Congress approves.

Sadly, I wouldn't be that surprised either. If the conservative wing stands up they may put an end to this nonsense. But I suspect the same old lets compromise, lets all get along, "mainstream" Republicans will still hand Obama whatever he wants.

It's not just Obama that wants it.

I don't understand, why we need to send Americans to their death? Lets close the borders, and get this country cleaned up, of all it's illegals, and start by bringing corporations back to this country....
We have so many recalls from products made out of this country, it's embarrassing....all due to cheaper labor....so, lets figure out, how we can bring manufacturing back here....and make all of our products that go into cars....etc....
Lets make our own clothing.

It's plain as day. If the GOP congress approves military action or a war that will be unpopular with the American people. If they refuse to approve action Obama will blame them every time there's an incident with ISIS. It's a lose/lose proposition for the GOP and Obama knows that which is why he's doing it now. Notice how he attacked Libya without Congress when his party was in power.

It is the conservative Republicans who are pushing on this the most. Cassidy, Cotton, Gardner, Ernst, Tillis, Capito, etc all made taking a tougher stand and getting more involved againstr ISIS as part of their campaigns.
