Yea right! Obamacare already took healthcare away from millions, happened in my house.
Within just one year, Obamacare dropped the percentage of uninsured adults in our country from 18% to 13.4%.
Remember too, that many parts of the ACA went into play earlier, such as kids being able to stay on parents insurance until 26. Without these services our uninsured rate could have been past 20%. And it would have reduced the rate more if not for Republican governors blocking medicaid expansion.
So you are 1000% wrong. Obamacare has brought health insurance to millions. And we can be assured these people have good plans. Not bogus catastrophe plans that don't cover anything.
It's going to be interesting to see if Obama accepts the will of the nation to change the course he has us on. I expect gridlock which is when our nation is at its best. Pols unable to f*u*k things up too bad.
This is just the first step toward a real recovery in these great United States. Nonetheless, it is a major victory for the American people. Lots of work still to be done, of course, but this was a fun night. People are tired of big government, and a big exclamation point was sent out in earnest tonight.
Wasn't so much "Big government" as it was "Bad government".
I wonder if Obamacare is going to be de-funded now?
Not a chance. This law has brought health insurance to millions. Republicans are in control of Congress right now because Democrats and independents know that there is nothing they can do to get rid of Obamacare.

Nope. When has that ever happened before?
Obama isn't gonna change anything about "his course." It ain't like he got much of anything passed anyway.
The Senate going Republican is probably just what he needed.

So I wonder if we really get to see then what the Republican's agenda is. On this board you say they have a plan and yet all we have gotten is repeal, repeal, repeal, and abortion...No excuses now. The election next time will likely favor democrats and if the Republicans have nothing to show for it besides "scandals" and a 100 votes on Obamacare then they will be ousted just as fast.
I do however hope the president and the level headed people in the legislature and come up with common sense solutions.

I disagree, I think parts of it will be, things like the medical device tax for example, or the mandate and the luxry plan tax. Basically they will kick out the supports for it, and it will become way too expensive.
What will they do then? probably run on a "see it failed!" platform in 2016.
