I've noticed Bill Clinton around a lot, even Hillary, and Barack made a few token appearances, but by most standards the failure of leadership in the Democratic Party was a losing strategy to distance themselves from everything the President accomplished while fighting against the most deliberately obstructionist Congress that anyone can remember. The Democrats deserved these losses.

Yet I did not hear a single word from Pres. Bush on the stump, does anyone know if he was out campaigning anywhere for anyone? You would think that a party that marched in lockstep with his Presidency for 8 years would not keep this man locked away for more than 6 years.

George, Where Art Thou?

GWB stays out of politics by choice as he stated after his last term.

You can catch him though on TV tomorrow night being such a fan as you seem to be.

I think I read that after he left office that he wanted to stay out of politics. I would note that both GH Bush and GW Bush are on good terms with Bill Clinton, possibly friends.

W Bush and HW Bush both knew how to fade into the sunset unlike other politicos who keep coming back like a bad rash. I like that about team Bush.

I don't see President Bush ever really campaigning hard or returning to the spot light. It's not really in his personality.

Your right. He has his projects that he advocates for, like Wounded Warriors etc. For the most part he avoids the spot light.

W is on excellent terms with Bill Clinton. When the present admin accused Clinton of being a racist in SC 2008, W was the first person that Bill dialed on his cell phone for consolation. According to lib writers Halperin and Heliman.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...no, he wasn't needed at all!

But the last two candidate, Romney and McCain were. Happily, the Clintons might turn out to be the biggest losers of this cycle.
