In the 19th and the 20th century, there are mainly two races in America, simply black and white. Today, that's not exactly the case anymore, as there are Hispanics and Asians in between.
According this this article, in the future, we might go back to the binary system. On one side you got the whites, light skinned or high European admixture Hispanics, and East Asians (Chinese/Korean/Japanese), and the combination of them. On the other side, you got the blacks, indigenous Hispanics, Southeast Asians, and the combination of them. The questions is, where do Indians/Pakistanis and the likes fit?

What in the world are they teaching in American History these days that people don't seem to know about the American Indian wars or the Asians and Chinese workers for mining and building railroads in the 1800's? Antisemitism against both Jews and Arabs was certainly prominent in the 20th Century.

Their numbers were so small. Look at the Hispanic numbers today. Can you even compare?

A big percentage of Hispanics in the USA are admixture of Native Americans and Whites. Arguably, they are partially Mongoloid, but they are nowhere near the achievements, culture, etc. of the East Asian Americans.
Some Southeast Asians are an admixture between Australoid and Mongoloid. You can simply say they are one or the other.

I'll take none of the above. I'll continue to identify culturally more than anything, while recognizing the heritages that make up my culture. Similar to how Hispanics do...
