I would. When people are receiving a benefit for themselves, it gives them the complacency to take it from others. If killing Medicare and Medicare Part D were on the ballot next to killing ACA, would older voters be so happy to cause harm to others? If so, then I applaud them. That's consistency.

But when older voters vote to kill programs for others while keeping it for themselves, that's just selfish, self-serving greed.

And for those doomed to lose their health care coverage, they are just plain damned. The Republican Party hates them, older voters actually cheer at their harm and the president they hoped would help them is demonized as a socialist, communist, Marxist, Kenyan who wants the country to get Ebola.

My sympathies go to those who are going to be painfully harmed but what the Republican Party is about to do to them. I have no sympathies whatsoever for the older voters currently receiving Medicare and Medicare Part D that are so proud of the harm they will do to these people.

Wow. You are incredibly naive.

Reminds me of the democrats that thought Obama wouldn't put boots on the ground overseas and would stop fracking while cracking down on wallstreet etc. lol.

I'm willing to give up Medicare and Medicare Part D as long as the older generation loses it too. It will be soooooo worth it.
Suck it up, Buttercup.

You may be thrilled to hurt a bunch of people younger than you are but some things, even health care coverage can fix.

Who is talking about Obama? I am younger than Obama, as are many of those you have been posting with on this thread.

Mainstream political antics don't resonate with me.

The enemy is the government...not the people. I really don't blame someone who tries to avoid interaction with the government at all costs because they know they're crooks. Starving the beast is one approach.

On the other hand if someone wants to drain the government by forcing it to spend as much money as possible as a strategy I could see that too. Bankrupting the beast is logical too.

That's why I find Driller's situation interesting. They put her on Medicaid even though she doesn't need it. Should she starve the beast (not use it) or bankrupt the beast (force the government to spend as much money as possible)?

Do you have a need for remedial reading assistance? They referred to Obama as "the kid". A guy that's greying and over 50.
