So it's ok for Reagan to grant amnesty but not Obama?
One more time for the delusional democrats. Reagan signed a bill that was passed by congress. He did not execute an executive order to do what you claim.
For telling the truth? How is free speech disrespectful?

It was disrespectful with where he decided to yell out like an angry toddler. His dad should have smacked him in the mouth for that idiotic outburst in a formal setting.

Facts can be your friend.
Hello my friend - the facts are here - Reagan and Bush used executive orders to extend amnesty to family members when Congress wouldn't.
On immigration in 2011 Obama said "it's not that simple" to grant amnesty to illegals.
Today Obama is going to take executive action.
So it's that simple. Obama is a LIAR.
Should be impeached.
No, The President according to Article 2 section 2 of the US Constitution has the power to grant reprieves and pardons to anyone who commits an offense against the United States. This includes amnesties and this point has been upheld by The US Supreme Court. Amnesty was granted by US President Andrew Johnson to several million Americans who committed Sedition and Treason against the United States between 1860 and 1865. A large number of these men (e.g. Robert E. Lee) who were pardoned had killed US soldiers during the national emergency called the Civil War. This allowed these people to vote and in the case of the former VP of the CSA run and return to the US Congress from Georgia. A more recent example was the blanket amnesty given by President Jimmy Carter in 1977 to several hundred thousand Americans who violated our draft laws during the Vietnam War. Many of which had fled to foreign countries. Amnesties are often unpopular for Andrew Johnson was criticized and impeached by Radical Republicans who felt that Confederate Leaders like Jefferson Davis or Robert E. Lee should have been sentenced to death for their acts of treason against the USA. Jimmy Carter was criticized for being soft on draft dodgers. But as we know doing the right thing often leads to criticism!

Typical democrat response. Silence any opposition by force and if possible violence. Especially any opposition that just so happens to tell the truth in public.

Once again, for the intellectually challenged, Reagan did not "grant amnesty", he signed a bill approved by congress. Something that Obama should try.
