Is it possible to have a vibrant economy when the financial sector is cannibalizing the populace? Or brewing up financial neutron bombs like they did before the crash?
It is refreshing to see any prominent politician with the cajones to regulate Wall Street. When they sneeze, we get pneumonia ...or for some folks, ebola.
Sure, fine, yeah...but extinguishing the entire community banking community, the locally owned hometown banks, as an accidental byproduct of the legislation named after one of the most corrupt senators in recent times, Chris Dodd, is counterproductive, disgusting, damaging beyond calculation, and simply moronic.
Those a-holes mandated the elimination of competition and furthered the concentration of the banking industry into a handful of giants--a vivid example of saying one thing and doing the opposite. Funny that anyone buys into the phony premises on which this disaster was built, much less proclaims that the disaster is actually a good idea.

I like Warren because she seems to get the right wingers all upset with her knowledge of the economy and the messed up structure of our country. I am so happy to see someone like her in office and I hope she stays a Senator for a while before ever trying to run for president.

umm, just for the record, Warren is a total financial illiterate. She does, however, have a great talent for inflaming the ignorant.
