So I guess illegals are going to get a pass on committing felony ID theft to work, etc.? Or working under the table and evading taxes? Hmm, let's see how many Americans would get a pass on those two crimes.

I always said a law isn't really a law if it isn't enforced and nobody obeys it. If the majority of the American people don't like something, ultimately they do have the power to change it.

Wrong! A law is still a law until it is changed regardless of who doesn't like it or even if it isn't enforced.

Why what a sharp little pencil you are?

I knew that but assumed you did also.

Yes he did get congress to pass an immigration bill. in 86. It was the high water mark for Republican sponsored legislation for our nation
He also did an EO on the individuals that were left out of the original bill and it was an AMNESTY EO.
Psst! GHW Bush also granted AMNESTY to another group of illegal aliens in 1990.

You're the expert on EOs and constitutional law, how is it you don't even have the basics of the history of such actions.

YOU'RE WRONG...

Note the bold part.

Reagan (note spelling) and Bush both went to congress to get them to legislate the inclusion of spouses and children not covered by the law...CONGRESS REFUSED. Reagan and Bush effectively doubled who the LAW PASSED BY CONGRESS intended to cover.

Reagan and Bush 41 provide no precedent for Obama’s amnesty by executive order | Power Line

I must have missed the clause in the Constitution that gives the president the power to legislate through executive orders if Congress fails to pass a bill that he supports.

Too bad the cheerleaders think that is is okay to to do so and justify by saying he just had "no choice!".
George Bush, in a super-duper, top secret EO, gave the NSA permission to bypass laws and regulations already on the books, and the 4th amendment to the constitution, in allowing them to spy on americans without a warrant...

Are there any facts to the story you wish to cite as wrong, or is the typical sticking your fingers in your ear and stomping your feet all you can do because you dont like it.
