"But But But, I thought the 1950s and the past was evil and so hard for blacks!"
You're more likely to die now as a black person than you were during the "super racist" 1950s. Isn't that swell?
take a breather. i took a quick minute search at your posts today and they've all been race baiting posts. the longest break you've had between posts has been 5 minutes, starting from 9 am to now, 11:15, which means you've been on this site for 2 hours consecutively baiting.
think about that before you keep baiting again. 2 hrs sitting on this site trolling on a holiday. what are you doing?

The truth can hurt. Us "Irish"; till WE stepped up and took care of business, were as bad or even worse than the hood rats of 2014. There was a reason why we were called the slur 150 years ago: "Shanty Irish", now MOST of us are "Lace Curtain Irish".

Does this statistic refute the fact that Blacks were treated like 2nd class citizens back in those days? Does it refute the fact that alot of Blacks were disenfranchised for many reasons during those days? Does it refute the realities of Jim Crow back in those days?

So your argument is to compare Lynching(one form of death...assuming they all died) to Black on black violence( which by definition could include stabbings, shootings, forced overdoses, and a million other things).
One major difference between lynchings and Black on Black violence. Black on Black violence is often related to drug dealing, personal disputes between persons, "someone looked at me the wrong way", and gangs. Lynching, on the other hand, was very racial in nature. Blacks were being lynched specifically because they were Black and "got above their place" according to the persons doing the lynching. Consider this. When Emmitt Till made a pass at a White woman in Mississippi, he got lynched. Nothing was done about the persons that did it to him. Today, such an event is less likely to take place.
The difference between the 1950s and now is that lynching was MORE LIKELY to take place back then. Not so much now.
