Do you think you, as a driver using publicly funded roads, shouldn't pony up to pay an equitable amount for those roads?

Since electric vehicles need to be plugged into a household outlet, and household outlets are often powered through coal and other means, I'm really not sure how its saving the environment..

Would you have a problem with it, if they were charging high end vehicles the fee?

I'm just curious if you are one of those, 'tax everyone else, not me" posters..

Perhaps it is time to stop relying on gas to determine how much you pay. If it's about travel why don't they tally up your miles each year and have you pay based on that?

Would we hire government bureaucrats to come and check every car's odometer every year? Would you get a visit from both a federal and a state odometer reader? Maybe some sort of government recording/tracking device implanted in each car that automatically transmits this data to the government would be a better solution?

mostly tree huggers and pay-more-tax people tend to drive those hybrids and clown cars

not only are they helping the environment they are contributing to america
