People are now concerned about a possible extradition of Assata Shakur now that Obama has open relations with Cuba. With a US embassy on the island, is an Assata Shakur extradition possible? Should she be pardoned? Some say that her conviction was a result of judicial mistreatment. Her trial had an all white jury and a toll of other injustices brought against her.
There is no extradition agreement or even normal relations. Nothing much really has occurred other than we will have a embassy.Obama has very limited powers in that regard.
