Why is everyone on the cops side? Are we all forgetting the massive corruption rampant in the NYPD? I'm not excusing the murders in the least, but it seems all DeBlasio wants to do is bring accountability back to the police which is something they should want if they're real police. If they want the corruption, then they're just thugs with badges.

I disagree with their actions, and do think they should be written up and warned, with a disclaimer added that they were letting emotion overcome reason.

No major disciplinary action, but via that warning, as a 1 time mulligan on their part.

DeBlasio and Al Sharpton are both oportunistic rabble rousers. They are both responsible for countless deaths. They both should be hung by the GOOD citizens of New York, if there are any.

He in no way turned his back on the police officers when he made that speech.

Bad cops are bad cops, A Good Cop should never be offended by a bad cop being called out for doing something wrong and that is what de Balsio said.

If de Blasio and Sharpton are to blame because of rhetoric, can we not blame thedeaths of young black mean on the Rhetoric of all police officers ????

Amen, dsjj251, and this is no different than all these idiotic cops supporters (of these actions) calling their own boss a dumb ***, and expecting to stay employed.

No, he didn't specify "bad cops".

He even commented publicly about teaching his Black son to be extra cautious around police officers.

Explain your unsubstantiated accusation!

You have this constant need to BLAME.

No one person or group is to "blame" just like there is no one person or group that can "fix this".
