What was he lying about with that post? My Jewish and Muslim friends don't celebrate Christmas, so for them it was in fact just Thursday.
I don't celebrate Ramadan or Hanukkan either but I don't waste time bashing other people's faith on Twitter. Atheist come off as very insecure in their own faith(atheistism) when they have to go out of their way to belittle something they apparently don't believe in, so why would they waste time worrying about it?

I can't speak for anyone but me, but as an atheist, I have very few worries. Lacking any religious beliefs gives me a whole lot less to be concerned with. Of course, believers might take comfort in their faith and that's a good thing.
