The first quote summarizes Tyson's antagonistic crack towards Christmas and Christians just a few weeks ago:
Quote:
Perhaps the most gratuitous display of holiday season boorishness came from the Twitter account of religion-baiting scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The ubiquitous astrophysicist spent Christmas Day mocking those who celebrate the birth of Jesus.
“QUESTION: This year what do all the world’s Muslims and Jews call December 25th,” he tweeted. “ANSWER: Thursday.”
There is more at the link. Tyson is a mega-troll, but who knew before this year? In any case, we all know now. Tyson picked 2014 to come out as a troll in true high profile splendor.

Yep. And the truth is that Isaac Newton absolutely did change the world, and was actually born on December 25th. It's actually fun watching people flip out over his tweets, though.
For 300 years Newton's birthday as been overshadowed by Christmas. What's wrong with the reminder?
