You know, the bible says pretty much the same thing. All this guy did was write a book which essentially paraphrases the bible. The mayor should also publicly condemn whoever wrote the bible while he's at it

BTW, the Fire Chief was also disrespectful to men who like to sleep around with different women; but then players and adulterers are not a protected class.
No, he wrote a book AND handed it out at work to employees. THAT is where he crossed the line. Write a book, great. Sell your book, fine. Bring it to the workplace and hand it out? Over the line.

From Washington to Obama, we've never had a critical thinking prez. Throw in dunderheads like Isaac Newton, Immanuel Kant, Rousseau, a sprinkle of civil rights greats, and it's a Who's Who of morons.

Do you think obama ever gave someone a copy of his book while he was a senator or president?

Does Obama's book preach hatred of a certain group?

Sounds like home grown liberal terrorism to me, don't dare say anything they don't like. In France they killed, in the US, lose your job and possible law suite.

aaahhh, the freedom of speech is alive, only if you agree with them.

wow - so many things wrong with this...

1. you ought to learn how to make analogies. Losing your job for bigotry is not the same as murder.
2. please also learn the definition of freedom of speech.
