Given the deceased's own attorney "doesn’t fault the police officer who he calls a 'professional' ", I wonder why protests, riots, National Media would be expected?
Dothan First reported Lawrence became ‘combative’ when asked to produce identification at the animal shelter. Police reportedly first tazed Lawrence to no effect, he was then shot in the abdomen. There is no mention of Lawrence being armed.
He was tazed and then shot all because he wouldn't show them an I.D.? He doesn't (didn't) have to show them squat.
From the article " While the Justice Department investigates the case, Crawford's name -- along with Michael Brown and Eric Garner -- is being chanted by some demonstrators across the country protesting what they say is systemic racism that fuels police violence"
Lesson learned. Read before you post. At least you're right on no riots. Riots are just stupid.

Notice the dates? He's comparing something that happened a little over a week ago to something that took MONTHS to develop. So if he's free to do that, I'm free to point out John Crawford got barely any coverage in the weeks following his murder.
I wish people could get over the racial component of these incidents and recognize them for what they are, which is government police executing citizens.

And yet the ideology that claims to be vigilant over such abuses of authority was strangely silent about this murder...
