Also, looks like November and October numbers were revised heavily up.

2014 was America's best year of job growth since 1999 - Jan. 9, 2015

More than 2.95 million jobs were created last year, according to the latest figures from the Department of Labor.

It's encouraging news as the U.S. tries to put the Great Recession and sluggish recovery solidly behind it. Many economists expect 2015 to be equally as strong, if not better, for job seekers.

The unemployment rate fell to 5.6%in December, down from 5.8% in November. That's also a big drop from the 6.7% rate in December 2013. It's expected to hit 5.2% -- around the normal level -- by the end of the year, according to CNNMoney's survey of economists.

And they will be revised heavily downward once the statistics are actually compiled.

But the media will ignore it and you, especially, will ignore it.

It seems like they are revised up most of the time. November was revised up by over 30 000, and October nearly 20 000. That's 50K upward revision in two months. Why do you ignore it ?

I sometimes wonder if liberals on this forum actually understand how percentages work?

I also wonder if liberals on this forum remember that America was at rock bottom.

When the only way to go is UP, then how is it logical to celebrate this newfound "growth." OF COURSE it's going to grow....it has no where else to go!

What percentages? We added 3 millions jobs making it the best year since 1999. It means we have not added that many in 15 years.

It's not the only way to go. In 2008 it went the exact opposite direction at a pace of over 600 000 jobs lost per month.

How short are people's memories?

I'm ignoring nothing.

Unlike you, who is ignoring that projections are made for politically favorable headlines, while revisions back to reality are ignored by the political media.

You did not ignore it? Where are your comments about the Oct and Nov numbers being revised up by 50 000 jobs? It is not a projection, it is a revision. Can you show me where you brought it up?
