YES! Finally they will get a taste of what its like to have your livelihood threatened by someone that doesn't agree with you.
Except that baker doesn't do cakes with offensive writing on them for anyone. And the baker offered to make the cake ans sell the customer the tools to write whatever he wanted on the cake.
See, the cake in question was to have the lovely text "God hates homosexuality." RebelCreator, you're not supposed to admit that "pro-marriage" actually is about hate. Say it's about maintaining the dignity of the institution. Say it's about tradition.
The fact that it's actually about hate? That's not to be divulged.
Read it. Don't believe the Anti-Gay dude will win. It will center around the hate speech, whatever the **** that is, and the bakery will win because they did offer to sell him a freshly baked cake just not put hate speech on it. He may not have liked his service but they did serve him, or tried to anyway.
Different legally than the other anti-gay bakery incident.
Just like I dont believe a print shop would be forced to print hate speech for any group.
The idiot went about it all wrong. Needed to ask for a cake promoting traditional values. Even requesting the old testment verse from leviticus.
I am also of the opinion that this bakery should have been allowed to tell him to **** off we arnt making your stupid cake.

Same with the Anti-Gay bakery incident.
It's more about the fact that he would have to prove they make hate cakes for other groups. Baring that they are allowed to deny him a cake,
There's nothing unusual or improper about this bakery's reaction. The customer was not the victim of any legally-defined discrimination. Self righteous, hate-filled prima donnas are not a protected class.
I managed a supermarket bakery for thirty years. We made cakes for gay weddings. We made cakes for religious ceremonies. Cake inscriptions and hand-drawn pictures are another matter. My instructions to my decorators was to not put anything on a cake that, if said or shown to other employees or customers, could violate the company's harassment policies.
The bakery was perfectly willing to supply the cake. The customer was free to supply the hatred on his own.
