I believe it was the majority of the Dems in the who Senate voted Yes including Hillary, Biden and Kerry. Why would they not? Sadam was a Satan who was continuing to kill off the minorities in his country. Liberals and Conservative alike acted like it could never get worse than Sadam....Wrong of course.
Unfortunatately, the current administration backed the wrong side as well when Morsi and the Islamic Brotherhood came into power in Egypt, and also helped in getting rid of Khadafi in Libya, and now Asaad in Syria. Unfortunately the Dictators are far less Evil the the religous fanatics who replaced them. Thank god in Egypt the Majority of the people sided with the Military in the Coup.
