Yemen's president and PM 'resign' |BBC

Last night there was an announcement of a "deal" and today they 'resigned'. It's a mess.
Big discussion about all this yesterday in the US State Department press briefing - they live in their own little bubble and refused to even acknowledge the problems.

Kind of like Al Qaeda being on the run.

"This counterterrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out [the Islamic State] wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partner forces on the ground. This strategy of taking out terrorists who threaten us, while supporting partners on the front lines, is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years."
Four months ago, Obama called Yemen’s war on terror a success. Now the Yemeni government may fall. - The Washington Post

We are on the wrong side. Iran is not behind ISIS. A moderating Iran is our only hope in the middle east. The Shiites are not the crazy ones.
