"Sadly enough, an acquaintance called the school this morning and told them she had been through a divorce because she cheated and that she now lives with her three kids and her boyfriend. The administrator welcomed them with open arms and offered an appointment."
Who the heck calls up any school and discloses they are divorced because they cheated wanting to know if this presented a problem for the school?
Something does not ring completely true about this story.
This story sounds like a bunch of BS. This couple was clearly itching for a fight by even trying to send their kid to this school in the first place. It's like a black family applying to a private school run by the KKK. Why would you deliberately enroll your child in a conservative religious school that you know is going to take issue with your sexuality? I'm so tired of all this attention seeking.

One of the parents is a pastor, and they wanted their children to be in a christian school. This school was recommended by a friend. They didn't know that the school would have a problem with their sexuality since they let them know about it BEFORE the school scheduled the appointment, but the school then cancelled the interview.
Quote:
"We chose this school because of its rigorous faith-based K-12 academics and extracurricular activities; and, a friend with a son there asked them if a family like ours would be allowed and was told yes. After a phone conversation, fully disclosing we are a two-dad family, an appointment was set for us. I receive this letter canceling our appointment without even getting a chance."
There are all black schools, there are all girl schools, there are all boys schools, there are all Jewish schools, there are all Muslim schools... Yet if one of those schools were to deny a student for any reason that went against their policies/beliefs, nary a word would be spoken. This is only in the news because its a Christian school.
In other words: find something new to whine about.
Not sure why a gay parents would want to send there child to a school that would teach the child to hate them.
Theyre not taught to hate. If they were truly a Christian school, they would teach the Bible, and Jesus' teachings show nothing but to love one another, regardless of their sins. We're all sinners, all equal in the eyes of God, one sin no greater than the other. If they were truly spewing hatred (highly, highly doubtful), then they should NEVER take Christ's name as their own.
