Castro wants us to pay him to normalize relations.

Cuba’s President Raúl Castro has demanded that the United States return the US base at Guantánamo Bay, lift the half-century trade embargo on Cuba and compensate his country for damages before the two nations re-establish normal relations.

I bet that Obama caves ... the Cubans are using him as their whipping boy. This "deal" with the Castro regime proves beyond any doubt that Obama is out to undermine the United States.

I am NOT opposed to ending the embargo or even against handing over Guantanamo Bay ... but I expect major concessions in return from the Castro regime some of which I have outlined in previous posts.

Normalizing relations is in cuba's best interest. Obama needs to tell them take it or leave it. We are not paying you a dime.

Like he supposedly was going to do with Putin? Does he still have a country?

Right-winger desperately want Obama to be "worse than Bush". It won't happen.

I don't Cuba has anything to worry about, with restrictions coming down, Cuba is probably going to see an explosion of development going on in their country.
