How come liberals always preach diversity but rarely live in diversity. (racist, Chicago)

I'm wealthier than many of my liberal friends, we were all born and raised in a middle class town on LI. Since they aquired their wealth, they have moved to the most "educated,artsy" community that they could which is predominetly white and Asian. Meanwhile I still live in the same town that I grew up in which has gone somewhat down hill because of diversity. I'll be moving soon because its getting bad, but i noticed my liberal friends high-tailed out of here as soon as they could and very rarely came back. Yet everytime we get together they always bring up diversity, and all the cultural things they do such as Shakespeare in the Park and museums. Why is that?

It's quite pathetic actually. I don't think most liberals are as open-minded as they want everyone to believe. Especially when it comes to their so-called open-mindness towards diversity. For instance, I was called a "blackie" by a white liberal atheist woman because I didn't take the BS she was spewing out about my beliefs so I told her what for and she didn't like it. She literally emailed me this. And I couldn't respond back because she blocked my account from having access to hers. And that is the type of crap I'm talking about. They want you to believe how their so open and accepting but it's all a pretentious lie. But then again liberalism is a lie so what more could you expect?

Liberals love to help those minorities "over there". It's the typical ******* NIMBY mindset. They preach about alternative green energy but god forbid someone put in an application to build a wind farm off the coast of Nantucket.

In my experience, liberals first see the group before they see the individual.

This is odd, since this goes directly against the teaching of liberalism, but modern day liberals have polluted liberalism.

Because in reality, Liberals are racists and they would never share their "living quarters" with such people. I know someone like that. A raging liberal but moved to a gated 99% white community.

I wouldn't say that, but I will say that living in SF is like having a free pass to the zoo.

I guess someone forgot to tell all those liberals living in ethnically diverse cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco...

Also the OPs premise(and preceding comments) seem to assume that all liberals are white...
