state your reason.

I personally feel they are a potential threat to this country because of our lax borders
and policy coming from Washington in how it handles radical islam.

They're a threat to individual citizens, not to the existence of the United States.

Can you deny that one attack on the US in September of 2001 has had world wide repercussions?

The atrocities that ISIS is committing will, and does have effects beyond the point of their origin.

Many small, subtle nuances will eventually add up to noticeable, and irreversible circumstances in other areas of the planet.

Allowing this cancer to grow, unabated will eventually consume the way of life that every individual is accustomed too, regardless of their physical place of residence, race, creed, religion, what have you.

Has nothing been learned from the politics of appeasement during the 1930's?

CN.......

I couldent have said it better, especially the last bit

We have learned nothing from the last century. ISIS is not just a threat to the United States, it is a threat to mankind.

No. It's just another bogeyman cooked up by the political class and MSM to keep Americans scared, to justify endless military actions disguised as war, makes lots of money for the banksters and defense contractors. It has been going on since WWII.

Communism (a government system) -> Terrorism (an emotion) -> ISIL/Radical Islam (religion)

I voted yes, because lot's of things can be POTENTIAL threats.

Do I feel they are a serious enough threat where we need to take military action to combat them nearly halfway around the world? No.

At what point has it become a serious enough threat? Seriously, where's the line?

Obviously, a rhetorical question, but one that deserves some thought, no?
