is there freedom and democracy in Iran?.....any human rights? did the Mullahs came to power in 1979 by free elections and the will of the majority of the people of Iran?

it is our job to knock off regimes that are a threat to us, our allies and our troops......we did it in WW2 in Germany, Italy and Japan.

Iran is the #1 sponsor of terrorism in the world against our troops and Israel.....either they reform and cool it down or we get a President sooner or later that will do the sanctions, embargoes and military actions to weaken the Mullahs or take them out.

I guess you forgot about those millions of Iranians in the streets to greet Khomeini when he came back.

Besides, who runs Iran is none of your business.

the people or the mob?......I didn't know the Mullahs allowed free elections with women and gay rights to vote in 1979.

what is our business is Iran sponsoring terrorist attacks on our troops, our allies and Israel and making threats to wipe out Israel out of the map. That is our business!!!.....apart from that they could go screw themselves and if they want to be rule by the Mullahs, that's their problem.

This guy....how many US states had sodomy as a crime in 1979?

The Iranian people hated the Shah, and resentment over there still runs deep over US interference in their government up until 1979.

you are clueless, did the U.S. government execute gays and beat them up for being gay?

Do the Iranian people love the Mullahs in power?? I'm sure the Mullahs let public protests of their regime? Huh?

Can you be more specific as to the identity of these conservatives? Do you mean Jimmy Carter who was in the office during the Iranian Revolution? Or, maybe, FDR who installed the Shah in 1941?

Get your troops out of the area. We shouldn't be in the Middle East anyway.

Their relationship with israel is Israel's problem. Not ours.

Yep. By deposing an elected leader and installing a dictator.

That made the mullahs a viable alternative.

I know...truth hurts, don't it?

The Shah was installed in 1941. Do I need to remind you who the president then was? Truth hurts indeed!
