Looks like the anti-semites aren't just in Europe these days.
Wow. Hard to believe the liberals excluded a Jew or any religion for that matter. That's got to be a first. When liberals spin out of control....the party of "inclusion" until you differ from the narrative....hilarious....and people think the Republicans own the market on hypocrisy....hardly.

Those two inaudibles kinda make the statement meaningless. Recently what? Unbiased view in what?
it explains it down in the article(well at least i think it does since we dont actually knwo what inaudible is)

Quote:
The “case” marked by a “conflict of interest” that Roth referred to is likely the case brought before the judicial board last year by Students for Justice in Palestine against two members of the student government. It was brought in the aftermath of the USAC vote on the unsuccessful Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions affiliated “Resolution to Divest from Companies that Violate Palestinian Human Rights.”

SJP alleged that the two student council members in question were ineligible to vote on the matter, per student government bylaws, because they had taken prior trips to Israel funded by outside Jewish groups. SJP claimed these students’ affiliations with outside Jewish groups provided prima facie evidence of a “conflict of interest.”
This is a much bigger and different issue than what the OP wanted to make it out to be.

So they omitted her due to her heritage. At a school in a generation that screams racism left and right, and yet they commit the same? I hope they pay dearly for their hypocrisy.

Let's get our facts straight. The didn't omitt her. There was an initial deadlock vote, and then later in the same meeting they again voted and unanimously appointed her to the board.

When were anti Semites ever confined to Europe? A virulent strain of anti semitism has always been a feature of this country. T'aint nuthin' new.

In any case, I'm surprised that it'd rear its head at UCLA.

Well if that were the case, then the organizations would claim Israeli occupation and then everyone would look the other way.

Thanks for standing up to this -- we really need more libs recognizing how anti-Semitic much of the liberal institutions are becoming.
