We are constantly being told that America is a polarized and divided society. But how come that our elected officials are getting along so well? We have no physical exchanges in congress like in other countries.
Shouldn't the polarisation in american society reflect the notion in congress as well?
But maybe the polarisation in our society isn't conservative vs. liberal but ruling class vs. country class.

Because the real polarization is between the rats fighting for scraps and not the cats eating cheese and drinking wine.
Because whatever disagreements exist betwen the two parties, they are relatively minor and publicized mostly for show.
