They agree on everything that matters to those that pay for their election. You want to see some fun? Elect people that haven't asked the rich to contribute to their campaigns.

Because the two parties aren't nearly as different as we're told. The fact is: every single person in congress wants the exact same thing; money and power. They pretend to give a damn about whatever controversial issue is being discussed and hope they play their cards right.

Its the institution in the end. Such would mean your through in US. Lots of show but in end not taken seriously by many serious people behind every elected official who provide the dominate thing; funding. Same reason why riots may get you attention but not much mass support.

Shouldn't the polarisation in american society reflect the notion in congress as well?
But maybe the polarisation in our society isn't conservative vs. liberal but ruling class vs. country class.
And you are complaining/whining? We ARE a civilized society, still. Sheez.

The ones stating how polarized and divided we are are the ones who have never been outside the country to see how other country's can be or are from other country's who's only knowledge of the US comes from Hollywood and the news.

I can just picture Hillary and Obama throwing punches at each other. It would have higher ratings than any reality shows on Bravo put together, lol
