The only way to reduce the corruption is to take away their taxing power. If they can't tax, they can only spend for a short amount of time.
Here is an example; PA has the worst road in the U.S., it's always been a joke....but it isn't a joke, all the taxes they collect, and yet, you have to beg them to fill the pot holes....so, way back during the time, when "they told us there was a shortage of gas, and people lined up at the gas pumps every other day according to your license plate number, if it was even you could get gas on a certain day, if it was odd, another day. So at that time, and since then, they've imposed taxes on gasoline under the premise of fixing roads...but they never do, and people don't remember and they buy their sob stories....
I swear we are the most naeive country in the world.
Remember all the Obama promises and how people acted like cult members, making fools of themselves, some still do.
Obama is now a creature of the Washington, D.C. establishment. He is captive to its loyalties and prejudices, and committed to safeguarding Washington's interests. There are whole categories of problems that he won't try to fix. Hope and change are dead.
What's sad is that some go into politics thinking they can really make a change. But they quickly get caught up in the lobbyists and what they can do for them. All politicians are bought and they don't give a damn about us. I wish there was something we could do about this.
Its the nature of the profession. Quid pro quo. As long as you have money in campaigns, it does matter if its judges or politicians, their services are for sale. We the voters are all putzes.

that is why I say, vote for an independent......google Independent Candidates for the 2016 Presidential Election, and you'll see some in there, I don't believe you hear much about them b/c they are not backed by huge corporations.....and maybe just maybe, that will bring change, but to continue to vote for a two party system, is not going to change anything.
the media is controlled by corporate interests along with the banking cartel. They will, for the most part, use their power to not so much discredit, but simply ignore, or not report about, any third party candidate that is a threat to the status quo. They did this with Ron Paul last election.. they simply gave him no air time, without actually coming out and bashing him which would have gave him more attention.
Since people usually just go by what the tee vee tells them to think, if they don't see the third party candidate they are not going to vote for them. Plus some are in the mentality that voting third party is a wasted vote. They might be right, which is why I typically do not vote, unless there's a referendum up that I support, such as legalizing marijuana, which is not likely to happen in South Dakota for a VERY long time.
That MISCONCEPTION (because that is exactly what it is) is what is destroying us! You're right about Ron Paul! The powers that be don't like the truth to be told!

they did the very same thing to Herman Kane. Then when people started to listen to him, they fixed him real good.
