The middle east has always been a turbulent place, Palestinians and Israelis have not gotten along in the last 50 years, many African countries have been unstable since the Europeans left.

Call it WW 2.5. They're staging a war to get our attention away from a banking collapse and a derailing of our economy. Obama is just the flunky stooge they have to do what they tell him, nothing more.
I guess they might want to look like heroes if they avert a nuclear war ( that they helped instigate) and " save us". What we really need to do is have a governmental purge and extend that into the banking sector.

Even in the beginning stages of World Wars I and II many people refused to believe the wars were imminent. For the sake of argument let's all agree that we are in the beginning phases of World War III. Who should history assign blame to for the rise of a third world war?
Obama is the cause as he stood by and did nothing when he could have

I'm surprised that it's taken this long to get that good old fashioned tribalism going again. The world was overdue.

In any case, it ain't that bad...yet. And history can assign blame to a bunch of people dating back a century if blame needs to be assigned to someone.

^^^^This.

The worlds natural state is war. Every country and every people on the planet has shown aggression toward their neighbor at one time in their history. There is no way a nation that has any resources can be peaceful for long before another more aggressive nation will take what the peaceful country has.

Really? The only way to get something you don't have is through violence and war? Have you heard of trade?

Some people don't want trade. They wanna keep what they have and STILL take what you have.

Humans are naturally violent. Greedy too. That's just the way it is.

"Skirmishes" in Syria & Iraq?

The most conservative estimates of deaths in Syria is 220,000 with an additional 660,000 injured. Almost 1 MILLION people dead or injured with another 2.3 Million "displaced", often in foreign Nations.

The are chopping heads, executing entire villages, taking hostages, robbing banks and conquering huge amounts of territory in Iraq. Yemen is just the latest "civil war", Lebanon and Libya are totally dysfunctional and Jordan is on the brink. There isn't "fighting between Russia & Ukraine" -- Russia is taking over parts of Ukraine, rolling tanks and shooting passenger airplanes out of the sky. And then there is the business with Iran and all the battles in Africa.

This stuff isn't "skirmishes" ..... it's a meltdown. It's not WWIII, but all this Chaos in the World is growing and the MENA (Mid-East/Africa) is the most combustible. Iran & Russia are the very center of it and America is asleep at the wheel. Lead from Behind and "I read about it in the news" is not a Strategy for anything except Total World Chaos.
