Some interesting comments by Cruz on President Obama. Comments start @22.39 into the video

I think history shows that it is common for worthy opponents to come to mutual respect. In this case it is a battle of ideas between the individualism of a Cruz and the collectivism of an Obama. I wonder if Pres. Obama will ever reciprocate. Bill Clinton and W Bush wound up as buddies. Politics=strange bedfellows.
Sure he is principled but not in the American way. Cruz is republican and Obama makes it known that he hates republicans or anyone else that doesn't bow to what he wants.

Don't have to get into specifics to make him look bad. He does that quite well by himself. Everyone knows what extremes he believes in and to what limits he will go to without regard for his Government or the People. Just being the Tea Bag poster child is enough reason to loath him.

OK, so more name-calling as a means of argumentation. Whatever. Hardly unexpected,,,,,

Chairman Mao was also high principled man.

Ted your on the campaign trail now those types of intellectualist discussions don't play well in Peoria.

That's because it is. When asked what kind of music he listens to, he said "I changed from classic rock to country after 9/11, because I found it embraced more of the principles and patriotism I believe in"

This is also a guy who kicked off his campaign at Liberty university, a fire breathing Christian school where I believe this man used the word "imagine" about 20 times in his speech.

I doubt if this charlatan worships anyone but himself.

Ted Cruz is very articulate and that's huge. It's that very same characteristic that allowed a relatively unknown Barack Obama trounce Hillary "The Inevitable One" Clinton in 2008. I'm waiting to see where he lands on the issues between now and next year. Should be interesting.

Ted Cruz - the better you know him the more you hate him.

So say those who have met him. And know him.
