I suppose you cannot see the idiocy in that statement.
The two could not be more opposite.

Wait till the election and they will be twins. Both Republicans who have big ideas and no plan to go with it. Both big time Losers in bid for Presidency, and Both who have no use for Americans and the Working Guy. Peas in a pod. Lamers and Losers.

If you listen to Cruz, it doesn't matter, since he lies anyway, and just says what one wants to hear. Instead, look at what he has accomplished for us, because he "Respects" American citizens. He accomplished.........ZERO...positive. He did shut down the Government, by being a sneaky snake, at the cost of several Billion dollars of Taxpayers money. I would not believe anything he says. Man speaks with forked tongue, as Americans would say.

If people had Animal Spirits, Cruz's would be a "Weasel."

He must be totally different than Romney then.
So far, he has not done that as my senator. Nothing makes me think it would be any different as President.
I didn't sent him to Washington to make friends. I sent him there on his promise to restore the Constitution.

He hasn't disappointed me yet. I don't expect him to in the future.

Hopefully I will be gone before that day comes but I doubt it, things can happen very quickly.
It isn't factual history. The plan was for two legislative proposals to be considered - funding the government and funding the ACA, which Congress was not going to fund. Aside from Obamacare, everything else would have been funded. In reality, how it should operate is a dozen or more separate spending bills considered, i.e. one for defense, one for criminal justice, etc.

Obama via Harry Reid said all or nothing. It was Obama via Reid who shut the government down. The House of Representatives passed, by strong majority, the plan to have two separate bills. The media played it off as the fault of Cruz and the Republicans. Sadly, some of the Republicans went along with the media on the false narrative - the Rhinos.

Posters on the left are doing a great job of parroting the mainstream media. You all learn well. Now, if you could just open the mind and get a little balance...

Balance? No way! That would mean they would have to watch Fox News at least occasionally. They don't want balance. They think everyone should agree with them.
