The ironic thing is Hillary was just at a campaign event railing against the 1% privilege, (something she obviously knows a lot about

You think any of you could just call up the state police to give you a 80mph escort to work if your running late.

bill

Why can't she just climb on her broom?

The Iowa Steak Fry spent more than $50,000 flying Bill and Hillary Clinton to the Democratic event outside Des Moines in September honoring retiring Sen. Tom Harkin.
New financial disclosure forms to the Federal Election Commission shows the committee that organized the event made a $50,099 payment for “travel expenses” to Executive Fliteways Inc, a Long Island, NY based charter jet company. According to Bloomberg News, the payment was for the former first couple.

One of my buddies' sister recently completed a very successful fundraising campaign for Hillary. She had no problem getting her rich friends to pony up a lot of money to a candidate who happens to be a 1%er. I also contributed although not at their level. Why did all these 1%ers contributed to a candidate who YOU GUYS THINK is railing against the 1%? Could it be that she's NOT against all 1%er?!!!

What you guys DON'T get is that NOT all 1%ers are the same. Even within this elite group there are opposing ideology. The conservative 1% thinks like Mitt Romney - intolerant, inflexible, elitist, afraid of the poor, and believes in cronyism. The liberal 1% believes in equality, fairness, and helping the poor.

When Hillary speaks, the liberals all understand who she is speaking against.

The conservatives are the ones who don't get this. This thread is a perfect example - they just lump everybody together as if the 1% are all just mindless zombies.... like them.

Do you see the issue now?
A private citizen....with a secret service detail. Who may not have even been aware of the other plane. Who may have had security concerns. AND...that flight might not have been made. She barely made the 7pm flight according to the article, by going 80 mph in a 55mph for a 55 mile trip.....and the other plane left at 5:15.

The whole article reads like a manufactured hit piece. Some parts are just flat out outrageous.

well, a lot of wealthy people have been admired throughout human history for many different reasons. From generosity to the society, to wit and charm.

I want to be rich, and will try my hardest to be the elite 1%. I admire the rich, am surrounded by the rich, and would LOVE to be the rich one day. Like my grandpa always said, "being rich is a lovely thing."

There is no doubt in my mind that the era of the “limousine liberal” has returned. Self-proclaimed crusaders for the poor who rake in millions while attempting to undermine the very system that allowed for their wealth. example: Rosie O'Donnell, Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton.

LOL. its funny because all three of your examples, while wealthy, aren't really at the top. COMBINED their net worth is around 250 million.

Combined that doesn't even get them into spitting distance of the 400 richest. The Koch brothers alone could buy and sell their combined net worth 100's of times.

Theres rich....and then there is Rich.

LOL yea like the clinton foundation, which is nothing more than a slush fund for the clintons and there political lackeys.
The koch brothers have already done a hundred times more for the poor and middle class in this country than the Clintons will in there lifetimes.

The Clinton Foundation is a non-profit organization. I was talking about campaign contribution which is not the same thing.

Even the Ko ch brothers would laugh at your last statement.

Shrug. So? This may amaze you but most liberals love inequality-we love capitalism. We just love it at rational levels. Some...yes its envy. Others its the hatred of their lives where they can never get ahead no matter how hard they try, and others like me, its the basic economics of it all. We recognize that it damages our economy and our society.
