If Israel can have the Iron Dome and Turkey can get two systems (one form NATO and one from China) then why can't Iran have the S-300 system that basically does the same thing? They all intercept incoming missiles.
The US is the world's biggest arms merchant. All sides in world conflicts are using US arms against each other. How dare Russia take a bite out of our turf.
I doubt Russia well this air defense system to Iran.
my guess is they are trying to gain some leverage in the upcoming vote with the EU over the sanctions.
