Let it be said that I am not a Hillary Clinton supporter and would never
vote for her.
Once again, Benghazi had absolutely nothing to do with Hillary Clinton.
You do realize the SOS's primary mission is to serves as the President's principal adviser on foreign policy and ensures the protection of the U.S. Government to American citizens, property, and interests in foreign countries.
Yes, Hillary had absolute nothing to do with Benghazi because she was not even doing her job.
She didn't have a clue to realize Libya was a hot spot waiting for an incident to happen.
Everything about our policy/intervention in Libya was wrong/failed and that can directly be attributable to Hillary and her role as Secretary of State.

As evidenced by the fact that Gowdy's committee has already said that no report will come out until mid-2016, just in time for the election. At which point the Benghazi investigation will have dragged out longer than the investigations into JFK's assassination or 9/11.

Benghazi was not a US embassy nor was it a consulate.
Benghazi was a CIA outpost and would not have been effected in the least bit by any cuts to US Embassies.

By Quadaffi's death, Libya was falling apart. But your statement was true 20 years earlier. Until the U.S. hit Quadaffi's summer tent out in the desert and killed a couple of his grandkids, Quadaffi was a socially progressive dictator as a younger man, but like Saddam Hussein, he hadn't paid any attention to Libya's infrastructure for many years.
That was the reason the Libyans rose up against him. He had paid all his people enough to live pretty well for decades, then gradually, the money stopped flowing, but Quadaffi still controlled the entire economy.
Neither Hillary nor Obama did anything more than support the NATO aircraft effort. Most of Europe wanted Quadaffi gone. At the time, no one thought his regime would collapse so quickly, or that he was as unpopular as he actually was. He was brought to ground and killed by his own people.
