ND lawmaker claims disclosure of explicit photo was retaliation for vote | Grand Forks Herald

State Rep. Randy Boehning, a 52-year-old Republican legislator from Fargo, says a Capitol employee told him a fellow lawmaker vowed to out him as gay if he continued to vote against bills granting gays legal protections against discrimination.

The exchange came to light when Dustin Smith, a 21-year-old Bismarck man with no known connections to the Capitol, contacted The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead earlier this month, saying he recognized Boehning from a gay dating smartphone app called Grindr. Chatting under the user name Top Man!, Boehning sent Smith sexually suggestive messages and, in the early morning hours of March 12, an unsolicited photo of his penis, according to exchanges reviewed by The Forum.

Gotta love those Gay Republicans that turn around and vote against the Gay Community because they are unable to cope with their own sexuality.

Sheesh. It really does seem safe to assume that most homophobes are just closeted homosexuals.

Was just mentioned yesterday: those seemingly most strongly against homosexuals too often turn out to have homosexual tendencies themselves. Much like the race-baiters and those constantly crying that anyone who disagrees with Obama is a "racist" are often the true racists who are just projecting their own racism.

A community of people. Why ask a silly question like that?

Have you ever noticed the ones who seem to be the most freaked out about gays are usually gay themselves? It seems to be their way of projecting How straight they appear to be. There are about a half a dozen folks who post on every gay thread I sometimes wonder about.
