Death. But the news people are saying with the appeals process it could take up to 20 years to actually carry out the sentence. Of course all costs of appeal borne by the taxpayers.

All while segregated from the general population so you can pretty much guarantee he makes it.
Apparently he told a nun who is also (ironically) an advocate against the death penalty that he is genuinely sorry and no one deserves to suffer like his victims did. Ugh. I don't believe it. He's trying to get out of the death penalty... he wanted to kill hundreds of people, which is why he went through with the bombing to begin with. Now that he's caught and facing the death penalty - he's suddenly sorry?
Only he knows if he's sorry or not, so I won't pass judgment. What I believe isn't important. Belief is for the simple minded.
Facts are facts. He committed an act of great violence. He should be brought to justice. I do agree, that he should not be executed (at this point, it's been determined that he will be), but it has nothing to do with him being sorry or not. I don't trust the government with the power to sentence people to death. It's one that could easily be abused.
I don't believe a word he says and happy he got the death penalty. I didn't think he'd get it living in the state i live in as only one person had to say NO. It tells me that maybe people r seeing the light and realize scum like this don't deserve to live.
Yes i know about the appeals process and such but in the end he's going to die. It may take 20 years yet that day will come.
In the meantime he can live like a rat on death row with other sewer scum.
I'll never forget that day being about 10 miles away and the ensuing chase that followed. It rocked our city just as 9/11 did for NY and the whole country.
I'm hopeful this brings some closure/moving on for the victims, for what it's worth. I feel though that many of the VICTIMS will never get over this terrorist attack and their lives forever altered due to the acts of this person and his brother. I won't give them the dignity of evening mentioning their names. Rot in hell u bastaad!
They executed Tim McVeigh in 4 years. Hopefully they fast track this one also.
I did hear where he is number like #56 on Federal Death Row.
McVeigh had to volunteer for it and if he hadn't he would still be alive today.
The last three federal executions:
McVeigh, Timothy Lethal Injection White Murder 33 6/11/01
Garza, Juan Raul Lethal Injection ispanic Murder 44 6/19/01
Jones, Louis, Jr. Lethal Injection Black Murder 53 3/18/03
The last one was over 12 years ago so the scumbag is guaranteed a long, long life in prison waiting for a day that may never come.
But I am against the death penalty because it would be to easy for him.
