And the Pope's opinions are just that - his personal opinions - unless he states them ex cathedra.

I will when they stop acting in a brain dead manner. Until then, I hope Israel wipes that stain known as Gaza from the face of the earth.

So if Israel wipes Gaza out, you wouldn't complain.

Got it.

Bullcrap-

The Catholic Church is supposed to facilitate and spread the word of Christ, not get involved in political issues.

I like this Pope in many regards, however his delving into politics is troubling, as Christ was apolitical. His socialistic political leanings are troubling as well, as charity and compassion comes from individuals, not through state compulsion.

If it was not for American pressure, a lot more countries would have recognized Palestine by now, including Germany.

The US will never recognize a terrorist organization as a legitimate government.

Government - maybe. But are Palestinians not a nation, and do they not have a right to live on their own land? But of course for the American right they do not, and they also feel a need to cowtow before "God's chosen" no matter what they are doing. And the German government is cowtowing to both America and Israel.

Palestine, a made up name for a bunch of cobbled together people, was never a "country". The region has been ruled by one entity or another since time immemorial.

Jews were in Israel long before Mohammed molested his first little girl.

New York Times:

Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, was less restrained, telling The Washington Post the treaty represents a resurgence of the “historical Catholic enmity towards Jews.”
