Oh yes this will surely get to some of our Ks posters!

Kansas representative faces hearing over 'racist' remarks / LJWorld.com

I have dreaded this day because this is a racist, sexist, fear-mongering bill," Winn reportedly said, according to a transcript of an audio recording of the hearing. "I would like first to apologize to the progressively minded people of Kansas who are appalled that we are turning back the hands of time...um...regarding to, and I am going to use strong language, Jim Crow tactics, and once again making Kansas a laughingstock."

The Democratic Caucus fully supports Rep. Winn in this matter," House Minority Leader Tom Burroughs, of Kansas City, said in an earlier statement. "This investigation is nothing but an attempt by the majority party to silence a minority voice that dared to speak up in opposition to discrimination. She has a constitutionally protected right to voice her opinion on this or any other issue, as do all Kansans.”

Two Dems are on the committee so most likely she will remain

But you left out this from the article:

Winn, who is black, also said that she wanted to apologize, "to the students and their parents whose lives are being hijacked by the racist bigots who support this bill."

It was a bill to repeal in state tuition for illegals.

If a White person had said that they'd be forced to resign but Blacks can say anything ?

She has a right to voice her opinion. Do you think she is getting special treatment for being black?

There was hate in her statement. You sure like to twist the facts.

She has a right to say what she wants but she shouldn't back pedal once she says it.

Winn denied that she was calling individual committee members racists. She said she was referring to supporters of the bill, adding that the bill was an example of what she called "institutional racism."

Yes, she was calling individual committee members racist if they supported the bill. Her right or not she is a moron.

What she said was worse then the cop with the Facebook picture of the battle flag underwear.
No backpedaling because she's Black.

She called them racist bigots.

Why ? Because they don't support giving entitlements to illegal aliens.

Just how is she a Moron? She is an elected official and you are just someone posting on the CD forum.
You know she is right but don't want to admit she is right.

I support our laws on immigration and wished our government did too.
I don't support benefits to illegal aliens that have invaded our country.

Does that make me a "racist bigot" ?

Calling people racists just because they disagree with you that those here illegally should get the same benefits as those here legally is being a moron.

I stand by my statement, no back peddling. If she had a valid point she wouldn't have to back peddle.
