So now suddenly the idiot left is worshiping Putin? That's what they say about any conservative if they happen to agree with anything he says, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander. So why do liberals worship Putin?

Not yet.

Texans don't have a clue how much better their lives would be economically and financially with greater benefits, not to mention greater freedoms and more voice in government.

It's all about educating people.

It's too early, now, but I figure after the 2016 Election it will be time to start showing, in detail, by the numbers, actual data, proving that some States would be better off alone than with the US.

Some States would only gain marginal economic benefit, so the decision to split would be largely political and the constant shift from a federal republic to national unitarism will guarantee that some do.

For other States, the gains are more than merely marginal.

For example, Ohio's GDP would increase 4% to 6% per year annually just on foreign investment in Ohio, which would create even more jobs, expanding the export sector.

Wages only double every 10 years in developing- and emerging-States. The US stopped being a developing State in the early 1960s. It is mathematically impossible for wages to double every 10 years, once you've completed the process of Electro-Mechanical Industrialization.

While the US cannot compete globally, individual States can, and more importantly, individual States on their own can suffer wage stagnation or even a decline in wages without suffering a loss of Standard of Living and while simultaneously decreasing the Cost-of-Living.

Generation Y are bewildered by their own tattoos and a complete waste of humanity, so you can write them off, but the succeeding Generation will be the Secession Generation, because they'll be looking for viable permanent solutions to what ails them, and secession offers exactly that.

Politically...

So, it sounds like this dwarf Putin is having delusions of adequacy again.

I'd imagine it'd be an incredibly stupid idea for an American state to succeed from the u.s. they would have to immediately file with the un as a member country otherwise they would run the risk of being taken over by some other country. And since they would not be apart of the u.s. anymore they would not have the u.s. military to back them up. Let alone help them out in the case of another severe drought. Also let us not forget anything they buy from the u.s. they'd have to pay a tarrif on. How quickly would they go broke?

People who neither know nor understand the the benefits would say that.

What, Mexico is going to invade Ohio?

Or do you think the El Salvadoran army will get there first?

Do you believe Iranian warships or going to sit off the coast of Iowa and lay siege?

The US military is only necessary to protect the Petro-Dollar.

They wouldn't buy things from the US. They would buy things from foreign States, you know, like the US does.

I'll tell you one thing about Putin and the Russians; they can't self-govern. I don't want their fingers in my politics until they learn something about the rule of law.

Perry never advocated secession. He, like many stupid politicians, took the bait from a reporter and answered a question about secession. The only people who ever seem to be advocating secession are all the liberals who claim Perry and all Texans wanted to secede.

What Perry Really Said About Secession

Actually under normal circumstances (no threat of extreme chronic drought destroying agriculture), California and New York (the two main engines of the US economy) would probably be the only states that might succeed or improve on their own, especially without the Dixie states to drain their tax support ..... the other 48 would probably fall to third world status.

The Texan National Guard is larger than the army of most nations.
