Why in the world would anyone think that's illegal?

The guy was making a point. He doesn't want (or expect) someone to do that any more than parents expect their kids to keep it up when they say that to them.

"Lets Burn this MF**ker Down" didn't get that 1 guy arrested in Ferguson.

Anything better than this should be OK.

That wouldn't be a crime, at least not anything close to a serious one. You'd a be a giant tool, but outside of that, more or less within legal bounds.

But that's not really the point. He knows when making this video that NO ONE is going to do that. That's his point. He's basically saying anyone can buy a flag and take a leak on it (or whatever they do), but doing something like this would be a true show of disrespect. Which they aren't brave (or stupid) enough to do.

He has a really weak argument if he has to challenge someone to commit a crime. A much better challenge would be to destroy a flag in front of a marine.

I thought that was correct also. But then I watched someone scream "burn this mother ------ down" over and over again in a crowd, and then lead people off to do exactly that. And after that town was burned down, no one arrested that guy, even though he clearly incited a riot.

ETA: rakin beat me to it. I should've read the whole thread before posting.
