Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and John Conyers Jr. (Mich.) said in a joint statement, accusing the legal counsel’s office of undermining the independence of federal watchdogs.
I applaud Democrat, John Conyers for joining the Republican DOJ Oversight Committee in condemning this new "rule". It's almost unbelievable that the Democrats in Congress continue to pretend this is not happening - they break every Oath they ever took and don't seem to care about that.

This goes all the way back to the Fast & Furious Records that the DOJ is still refusing (under Court Order and Congressional Censure) to Congress. The Inspector General testified that whistle blower cases and other cases involving information from the Justice Department have "lagged" for years. They are also very concerned that other Departments and Agencies will do the same thing - "Official Stonewalling" with their own "rule", which ignores (once against) Law passed by Congress. DOJ is saying that their OWN Office of Legal Council has the right to act as a "Supreme Court" and deny access on anything they deem "secret or confidential". The Administration Corruption across all Departments (but especially the crucial DOJ) is breathtaking. The truth WILL eventually come out - they can't destroy ALL the Hard Drives in Government.
We now have the answer to the question - Is Loretta Lynch another Eric Holder? ..... you bet she is, this new "rule" was issued on HER WATCH -- which means she LIED in her Congressional Hearing to get confirmed.
