I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but I've noticed something...
Every job I have, there is always some sort of issue with a female employee. Not necessarily with me personally, but some female employee is always causing a fuss over something.
One job I worked, a female employee was rude to everyone (customers and coworkers), yet never got in trouble because the supervisor was a female.
At my current job, there is a female employee who always seems to have some sort of personal issue with just about everyone. She also has crying breakdowns in front of coworkers.
My wife has noticed the same thing at her job. Female coworkers starting drama, complaining, calling out all the time. My wife also seems to have issues with other employees. It seems like at least a few times a month there is some sort of complaint about a female coworker causing drama or being rude.
When I worked in technology, 99% of the workforce was men. I had no problems at all. Maybe the occasional lazy employee, but he was usually dealt with quickly. Now that I work in education, I am one of the few male employees in my department. It's nothing but gossip, drama, and complaining non stop. I kind of just sit there like "yeah..... right...."
It seems like men just come to work, do what they are supposed to, keep their mouth shut, then come home... Which is like the complete opposite of what my wife and many other female employees do.
Obviously, there are exceptions to this.
Has anyone else noticed this?
In medicine, most of our "co-workers" are women nurses, managers and receptionists. They seem fine to me. Like at home, they are organized and tell me what to do and keep the office running; I just do my clinical work and don't worry about anything else.
My nurses have a good sense of humor, do not gossip and all get along well. They are, however, happiest when I am not there and on vacation!
I had a female technical manager who spent an hour every day washing coffee cups and complaining about it. I called her in and told her she only made minimum wage for washing dishes and I was keeping track. She never washed another coffee cup. Somehow we managed.
In general men are not as dramatic in my experience.

Yes I've noticed it because I'm still breathing. But would you not want them there? They also do certain tasks much better than men and that sh3t they stir up often cuts down on the boring drudgery of work.
I've had men I worked with that I couldn't stand & I've had women I worked with that I couldn't stand. People are people, some you get along with & some you don't, has nothing to do with their gender. But what people are not understanding is something very basic: men & women are different & they approach things differently. If you can't understand it, accept it, or deal with it, I suggest you get a different job.

Absolutely, and from my experience, it's just getting worse.
Out here, the female-dominated offices are so toxic that I made a career change and wouldn't even consider going back.
I've always said that my favorite people that I have ever known are women. And that's still true. But in recent years, I add that my least favorite people are also women.
Create a protected group and thus shield them from much social discipline and in 25 years you create a lot of monsters. Happens every time. That's where we are.

Why isn't there a poll option that reads: I prefer to work with competent and hard working people regardless of gender"?
I've worked with crappy people (men and women) and with great ones (men and women). You're poll doesn't represent my 30+ years of working at all.
