I had to tell my elderly parents about snopes after they fell for stuff repeatedly.

Op you should stop following that blog or reprimand whichever friend forwarded it to you. Anyone that reads slanted stuff from places like that and the left is no better....you either need to fact check everything or look like an idiot often.
