Scaling back Medicare and SS? Perhaps that is also a fraud or waste issue. Also, changes have to be made to those programs to keep them solvent as we are running out of funds for them.

How about you addressing my concerns about the Democrats apparently being more concerned about illegal aliens and their families rather than American families now? How does allowing them to remain here open up job opportunities for American families?
First, I was referring to personal income taxes and capital gains.
Second, there is no evidence at all that concludes that lowering corporate taxes creates jobs. Corporations hire the number of people that they need to perform work. Lowering taxes on the corporation doesn't magically make them need more workers. It just increases their after tax profits, which enriches shareholders -- 50% of whom are in the top 1%.

Conservatives want to kill Social Security, not for sound fiscal reasons, but because its popularity helps legitimize government action in general. And no, Social Security does not face a financial crisis; its long-term funding shortfall could easily be closed with modest increases in revenue.

Party does have a lot to do with family values. Democrats largely support the murderous Planned Parenthood. No one who does can lay claim to having anything remotely resembling "family values". Also, the liberal party is almost openly communist in its social mission in the modern day. Communists have open designs in undermining the nuclear family. This latter statement is an umbrella for everything that we could discuss across a myriad of family values battlefronts, that would take a book of writing to do.

Planned Parenthood is a great and worthy organization that helps lots of women. While Republicans are largely anti-abortion they are also largely against programs that help the poor and help poor children. The GOP moral seems to be, "we care about fetuses, until they are born."

Corporations would be less inclined to outsource with lower taxes. Please post a link that conservatives want to "kill" SS rather than to make changes to keep it solvent. I'll wait. Every source I have read says that our SS funds are dwindling. Our government borrowed from it and that is part of the problem.

Since this topic is abut family values why are you not addressing my remarks about the Democrats being hypocrites about family values themselves when illegal immigration is harming American families and they want illegals to get amnesty to stay here and retain American jobs?

No, it should not be the responsibility of the American taxpayer to pay for any part of a woman's pregnancy or lack of responsibility to prevent it. Being pro-life is not in conflict with the above.

Party of? It's nonsense that they don't want to help the truly needy. It is those who abuse the system or act irresponsibly that they don't support.

Smelt it dealt it, if your doctor tells you that you have aids, you know he had it first!

Wow. I thought only wives stand next to straying husbands, but this must be a first where the husband is supporting his loose wife.

Gamrat
Republicans have never been the party of family values. They only played lip service to this opinion.
