I always say that the root cause of our permanent underclass problem and cycle of government dependency is single mothers. We need the courage to take the appropriate measures as a society to stop uneducated single mothers from reproducing. This always produces a very knee-jerk reaction from people. I just found the perfect rebuttal.

Quote:
Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important. And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation. They are teachers and coaches. They are mentors and role models. They are examples of success and the men who constantly push us toward it.
But if we are honest with ourselves, we’ll admit that what too many fathers also are is missing — missing from too many lives and too many homes. They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it.
You and I know how true this is in the African-American community. We know that more than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children. We know the statistics — that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. They are more likely to have behavioral problems, or run away from home or become teenage parents themselves. And the foundations of our community are weaker because of it.

Obama.
To put it in context it was a speech made on fathers day.
MARY was a single mother and we all know how that turned out. Her only son was hanged as a criminal when he was still a young man. Why did his dad abandon them?

For the simple minded it was an act of love for those who don't believe and have no faith ...God hasn't abandon anyone it is his creation that has abandoned him!
Why always so bitter?
Sure, they CAN, but apparently they are not, since so many babies are being born to single women.
It takes 2 to tango. The woman can always take the necessary precautions herself, or say no if the guy isn't doing so himself. It's her body, her choice, right? In fact, I think if both parties choose to be sexually active but not want, or are not ready for the committment and responsibility of children, then they BOTH should exercise some form of precaution. That is just common sense! In short, you wanna screw, but don't want kids, either protect yourselves, or don't screw!
