Would turn the great country of America into something akin to a banana republic replete with a military dictatorship,North Korea comes to mind..
Astounding that some would think this course of action would be preferable to a duly elected government by the people?
Completely ignoring the fact that the Obama regime and his Democrat sycophants have already turned the US into a Banana Republic.
In the end the question boils down to "Are you tired of our dysfunctional, lying, corrupt government" and obviously that number is getting larger all the time.
That's a good thing.
That is a loaded question, "Are you tired of our dysfunctional, lying, corrupt government" , how many people in their right minds would answer "no" to that question.
As for a military take over of this country, are you ready to give up your rights? Are you ready to have your freedoms stripped from you? Because this would be the result of this type of action, the ole saying "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."
The overall numbers increased when participants were “asked whether they would hypothetically support the military stepping in to take control from a civilian government which is beginning to violate the constitution”. 43% said yes to this, and 29% said no.
The poll apparently doesn`t offer any alternatives to military intervention such as action by the states to remove a dictator from power.
The outcome of any poll can be reasonably determined by the questions posed.
In this case it mentioned a military take over. It's obvious that some percieve this as state or independent militia and the target is one or more people elected by a majority of the people.
The story within the link makes clear that people are attracted to online polls because of a some variable. That variable is often present in the online marketing of the poll.
Since when do the responses of 1000 from anywhere in the world mean anything except to those who agree with the polls limited conclusions.
Maybe they could teach some people math. The article said 30% of people supported a military takeover, the headline news said 33% and OP thread lists 43%. I bet it's much lower.
To be specific, 333 people in a country of 333 million...........
Internet rags often write sensational headlines and then commission cheap polls to confirm the headline.

Apart from the story which tells the reader what to think about the poll they haven`t read, did you read the actual poll and the questions asked?

Violent overthrow results in violent replacement government. I'd rather the fedguv collapse under its own weight and then we will get a window of freedom until the next gang takes over.
With all the propaganda and dumbed down worship of all things military, I'm not suprised the number isn't higher.
350 million people experiencing complete freedom of government.
What could go wrong?
