No---by science. It's called genetics and DNA testing. Look it up.
All smart, informed people know that race does not exist, so how could anything regarding ethnic origins possibly be determined by DNA testing? I mean wow, just wow.

The studies were not about race, per se, but about blood lines. Y chromosomes are only passed down from father to son, with no input from the female's DNA to muddy things up. This draws a clean line to direct lineage. Y chromosome studies have been used to trace blood lines of many individuals and groups, including Ashkenazi Jews.

"Anti-Semite" is one of the dumbest insults ever created or used. Arabs are also Semites, but when does anyone who criticizes the Arabs get called an anti-Semite?

No, they tend to get called islamaphobes.
But maybe you can help me understand something. This "anti-semite" thing you are talking about seems to be the new, popular response to the word, in certain circles. What is the angle? I mean, in modern times, anti-Semite has become the term for anti Jew. If you say it, everybody knows what you mean, so what is the problem? Would it be better if someone says anti Jew? And if so, why? Aren't we just talking semantics here?
