I've got no particular problem with rich people in and of themselves. But I DO have a problem with rich people who use the (bought) power of government to skew ever more rules in their favor. And I have a SERIOUS problem with working-class slobs who reflexively defend predatory rich-kids just because their talk-radio demagogues tell them to. "Traitors of kind" is what that's called.

The rich would have you drawn and quartered if they could make money off it. But you're more useful at the moment as a worker bee and political tool.
Isn't that why you hired Obama to take from the "uber rich". The only problem is, he took from the upper middle class (who are also "on their way") and the uber rich got a pass. No matter, you're convinced and as we see the poor are still poor yet you'll defend his policies that didn't help the poor regardless... the poor are still trapped and will remain trapped as long as government advocates handouts.

I agree with most of that except for that last bit of ideological dribble.

Obama has represented mediocrity... the status quo. Unfortunately that's the best we're offered in our bought-and-paid-for American political system.

Beats the hell out of the Republican alternative where wealthy "job creators" are worshiped as gods while they rape and pillage the middle class.

The largest rape and pillaging was done under the QE program under Obama......I'm not arguing that the GOP wouldn't have done the same.

I don't understand how so many are able to only see out of one eye though.

And a LOT of it went towards buying agency (GSE) MBS and debt. Why?

So what? You're willing to hurt the people who worked to earn their wealth because your jealous of the rich who inherited it. "Most" rich came from the middle class, they worked hard then was smart with the money they earned, they did without the stuff and bought assets (invested it) so their money made them a passive income.

But hey turkey-head, at least you're trying but try turning that jealousy of the inherited wealth into something more productive. Yes people like me and you have to start from square one but it is what it is. At least we have our eyes on the right ball.

Sorry, I don't believe in helping people. It sucks to be poor, it always has. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Oh the drama turkey-head... just like Trump. You really got some tunnel vision and sound like a democratic useful idiot. Bring it down a bit. They are both bad and we, the people allow it.

One side because they think they'll get more handouts. After all since government discourages them by taking benefits away if they work or work more, of course they'll vote for the handout. The other, they're too damn busy working, buying liabilities, playing rich, but won't educate themselves about money that they too are useful idiots.

It's all just rhetoric to get our support to allow government to take more money from us.

The poor, their chances are slim. The qualifying income limits for receiving help are low. They get enough for a poverty level standard of living. If the poor on the gov handout work or work more they'll lose some of that handout. They have to be willing to go backward before they go forward. That's a pretty big discouragement and keeps the poor trapped. I'll call it the tax payer funded government trap.

The middle class, focus on income, a higher income or work more, both exchanging time for money for W2 income, the highest taxed income. And the more you make, the more the government takes and when you give your money away its hard to build wealth. Ill call this the corporate government trap
